Veg momos are a popular breakfast in Tibet and are also very much liked in India. Momos are made from maida and stuffing of vegetables are filled in them. Momos are deep fried or steamed by filling many types of stuffing. Momos are red hot chutney.  It is also very easy to make them at home.  Although the sheets for making momos are also available in the market, but we will make them at home, so let's make momos without steamer today.

necessary ingredients
.1 cup all purpose flour
.salt
.Grated Cabbage
.coarsely ground black pepper
.Oil

how to make momos

. First add salt to the flour and mix

Knead soft dough by adding little water to the flour, cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.

. Now heat oil in a pan

. When the oil is hot, add grated cabbage to it.

. Now add coarsely ground black pepper and add salt and mix, cook the cabbage for 1 to 2 minutes.

. Now take a small ball out of the dough and make it round.

.  Now apply dry flour on the dough and roll it out thin, prepare all the pooris by rolling them and keep the pooris covered with a wet cloth so that it does not dry out.

.  Stuff the cabbage stuffing inside the poori.

. Fold the puri upwards and close it giving the shape of momos.

.  Similarly prepare all the momos

. Now take a sieve to sieve flour and spread cabbage leaves on it.

.  put momos on the leaves

Heat water in an open-mouthed vessel and place a sieve with momos over it.

. Cover the momos and steam them for 15 to 20 minutes.

.  After 20 minutes take out the momos in a plate and serve with hot red chutney.

Tips

.  Don't fill up too much staffing in momos

.  Staffing can fill with your favorite vegetables

. You can also deep fry momos
