Many breakfast recipes are made from semolina in Indian cuisine. There are two types of semolina, coarse semolina and fine semolina. Here I have used fine semolina to make mini idlis. Ingredients to make mini idli

.1/2 cup semolina

.1 tomato finely chopped

.1 onion finely chopped

.1 green chilli finely chopped

.finely chopped coriander

.Salt

.1/4 tsp black pepper coarsely ground

.1/4 tsp coriander powder

.1/4 tsp chaat masala

.hot water

Ingredients for making sauce

.Salt

.1 tomato chopped

.2 cloves of garlic

.1/4 tsp red chilli powder

.1/4 tsp black pepper powder

.  1/2 tsp mustard seeds

.1/2 tsp cumin

. 1 tsp tomato sauce

Mini idli recipe

In a vessel add 1/2 cup semolina, finely chopped onion, finely chopped tomato, finely chopped green chilli, finely chopped coriander, salt, 1/4 tsp chaat masala, 1/4 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp black pepper  mix it up

. Now make a thick batter by adding hot water little by little to the semolina.

. Add half a teaspoon of Eno and mix it.

. Heat the mini idli stand and put a little oil in each of its dishes.

.Immediately after adding Eno, put a little batter in each portion  of stand with a spoon, cover it and cook for 2 minutes.

After 2 minutes turn the mini idli and cover again and cook for 2 minutes.

Make all idlis in this way

Now put 2 cloves of garlic and one chopped tomato in a mixer jar.

Grind them by covering the top of the jar.

Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan.

When the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds and 1/2 tsp cumin and fry it.

Now add tomato puree and mix it, along with it add 1 teaspoon tomato sauce, salt, 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder and mix.

Now put mini idli in it, mix well and serve

First of all in a vessel add 1/2 cup semolina, salt, finely chopped onions, finely chopped tomatoes, finely chopped green chillies, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp coarsely ground black pepper, finely chopped 1/4 tsp green coriander and chaat masala and mix it well.




.Now add hot water little by little and make a thick batter.



.Heat the mini idli stand and put some oil in each of its dishes.



.  Add half a teaspoon of eno to semolina batter and mix it.



.  Pour a little batter in each portion of the appa patra with a spoon.



.  cover and cook for 2 minutes



.  After 2 minutes turn the mini idli and cover and cook again for 2 minutes




.  Chop two garlic cloves and one tomato and put them in a mixer jar.




.Cover the top of the jar and make tomato puree.



.  Heat two teaspoons of oil in a pan



. When the oil is hot, add half a teaspoon mustard seeds and half a teaspoon cumin seeds and fry it.




. Now add tomato puree and mix


.  Add one teaspoon tomato sauce, salt, 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon chilli powder and mix well.



.  Add mini idli and mix


Mini idlis are ready, serve them hot.


Tips

. Pour the batter into the mini idli maker immediately after adding eno, otherwise the idlis will not become soft.

.  Do not dilute semolina batter too much

. Don't add green chillies if you are preparing for kids.

.  Adding hot water to semolina does not require it to rest.
