Salad is prepared in many ways, but today we will make a spicy Lachha salad of onions, this salad is mostly served in North Indian hotels or Dhabas.  This is a very easy recipe and can be made at home too. To make this salad, if you can, take red colored onions and soak them in ice cold water for 10 minutes to reduce the spiciness of the onions.  Soak it, what will happen that along with the pungency of the onion, the onion will remain crispy for a long time, you can serve this salad with roti rice, so let's make a spicy lachha salad

Ingredients for making Lachha Onion

.2 large onions

,  Ice water (for soaking onions)

.1/4 tsp black pepper powder

.1/4 tsp Kashmiri red chili

.1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder

.1/4 tsp chaat masala

.little salt (you can also take according to taste)

,  a little black salt

.1/2 green chilies remove the seeds and cut them

juice of .1/2 lemon

.Finely chopped coriander

How to make Lachha Onion

First wash the onion and cut it into rounds

,  Now take out the onion slices with a light hand.

,  Soak onion slices in ice cold water for 10 minutes, what will happen is that the sharpness of the onion will come out and the onion will remain crispy for a long time.

,  After 10 minutes take out the onion in a vessel

,  Now add one-fourth teaspoon of Kashmiri red chili powder to it, Kashmiri red chili powder is not very spicy, if you have other red chili powder then add a little less

,  Now add a quarter teaspoon of black pepper powder, a quarter teaspoon of roasted cumin powder, a little edible salt, and a quarter teaspoon of chaat masala, and a little black salt and mix it.

,  Now take out the seeds of half green chilies and chop them finely, put this inside the onion and mix the juice of half a lemon in it.

,  In the last, add finely chopped green coriander and mix it with onion chutney salad is ready.

Tips

,  Soak onions in cold water for 10 minutes

,  You can add spices of your choice in the salad.

,  And finally serve the salad with dal, rice, vegetable roti.
