Cauliflower Manchurian is an Indo Chinese popular street food. In this recipe, cauliflower  is first fried by wrapping lt in a batter of maida and then it is added to the spicy gravy, cornflour is used to thicken the gravy and all these  Together this becomes a very wonderful recipe. Cauliflower Manchurian is made in two ways, first dry cauliflower manchurian and secondly, cauliflower manchurian with gravy  make manchurian

Ingredients for  cauliflower Manchurian

.1 tsp ginger garlic paste

Cauliflower florets (thickly cut)

.Green onions finely chopped

,  1 tsp soy sauce

Make a slurry (for gravy) by adding a little water to it.

.1/2 green chili finely chopped

.1 tsp tomato sauce

.1 tsp white vinegar

.1 tsp Red Chili Sauce

,  1 onion coarsely chopped

,  1/4 cup cornflour (for kneading)

.salt to taste

.1/2 tsp red chili powder

.1 cup all purpose flour

.1/2 tsp coarsely ground black pepper

.1 tsp sugar

.oil for frying cauliflower

How to make cauliflower Manchurian

,  First of all, cut the cauliflower into big pieces and keep the cauliflower in hot water with salt for 10  minutes.

,  Now put all purpose flour in a big vessel and add a quarter cup of cornflour, salt and red chili powder and mix it well.

,  Now make a batter by adding little water to the maida, the batter is neither too thin nor too thick, the batter should be such that when a piece of cauliflower is put in it, the batter sticks well on the cauliflower,just like this we have to prepare the batter.

,  Now heat oil in a pan

,  When the oil is hot, take a piece of cauliflower and dip it in the batter and put it in the hot oil, similarly dip all the pieces of cauliflower in the batter and put it in the oil on a medium flame Fry till it turns crispy from both the sides.

,  Now heat 2 to 3 tsp oil in another pan, when the oil becomes hot, add ginger garlic paste and fry it, when the ginger garlic paste becomes light brown, then add a finely chopped green chili and a thick chopped onion.  Add it, cook it for 1 minute, now add finely chopped green onion and mix it.

,  Now add one teaspoon soy sauce, one teaspoon white vinegar, one teaspoon red chili sauce and mix it.  Now add cornflour batter and mix it, this will make the gravy thick.

,  Now add coarsely ground black pepper and a small spoon of sugar, mix it and cook it for a while after adding a little water.

,  Now add fried cauliflower to it and mix it and add a little salt and mix it. Cauliflower Manchurian is ready, take it out in a vessel and serve garnished with finely chopped green onions.

Tips

,  You can increase or decrease the amount of sauce as per your preference.

,  To make the cauliflower more crispy, fry it on low flame for a long time.

,  Do not put too many cauliflower pieces together while frying

,  To clean the cauliflower  pieces, soak them in hot salted water for 10 minutes
