Today we will make jaggery halwa. To make it, first we put jaggery in water Melt and then make halwa with the water if you do not want to add jaggery in the halwa, you can add sugar instead of jaggery to make this halwa, but the sugar is added directly to the halwa is not melted, so let's jaggery Let's make halwa
Ingredients for making Gud Ka Halwa
.1 cup of gud(jaggery)
.2 cups of water
.1 cup ghee (can increase the amount of ghee if required)
.1cup wheat flour
.Slightly finely chopped cashew nuts (optional)
Recipe for making jaggery halwa
.First heat two cups of water on gas. Now add a cup of jaggery and let the jaggery melt
.When the molasses melts, strain this water through a sieve and keep it aside
.Now heat 1 cup of ghee in a pan now add a cup of wheat flour inside the ghee and fry the dough on low heat stirring the dough constantly till the dough changes color and it gets a nice aroma
. When the dough starts to smell good, slowly add the water of molasses that we have prepared and stir continuasly to avoid lumps
. Add the jaggery water and cook the halwa for 3 to 4 minutes or cook on low heat until the halwa leaves the ghee
. When ghee appears on the edges, the halwa is ready. Now add finely chopped cashew nuts. If you want, you can also add cardamom powder to the halwa. Turn off the gas.
. Jaggery halwa is ready. Now add a teaspoon of melted ghee on top and serve
. Tips
. Fry the dough on low heat until the dough comes out fragrant
. The amount of ghee can be increased or decreased.
. If you want to add sugar instead of jaggery to halwa, first add boiled plain water to halwa when halwa thickens then add sugar to it and add sugar and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes
