Parathas are very popular in India and there are many ways of parathas are made today we will make namak mirch  paratha this is a very easy recipe which requires only salt and pepper to make and also to eat it  no chutney or vegetable is required but you can still eat them with yogurt or your favorite vegetable, chutney. These parathas can be made for breakfast or lunch and can also be added to children's tiffins  I have made the paratha with very little spices you can add your choice of spices and size of your choice

Ingredients for making salt and pepper parathas

. 1 cup wheat flour

.1/4 teaspoon salt

.1/2 teaspoon cumin

.1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

.1 small tablespoon oil

.Ghee

Recipe for making salt and pepper paratha

.  First, put the wheat flour in a large pot

. Now add salt and a teaspoon of oil inside the dough and mix

.  Now add a little water to the flour and knead a soft dough

.  Cover the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes

.   After 20 minutes, break a ball-sized loaf out of the dough and roll it into a ball

. Sprinkle flour over the dough and roll out the round parathas

.  Now spread ghee on top of the paratha and spread salt, red chilli powder and cumin seeds on top

. Hold the paratha by one side and fold it

. Fold the parantha again into triangles

.  Again, sprinkle dry flour and roll the paratha

Heat the pan and place the paratha on the hot pan and let it sear from one side

.  When the paratha is seared on one side, flip it and apply ghee on top

.  Fry the paratha on low heat with ghee, turning it on both sides

.   Make the rest of the parathas in the same way

.  The salt and pepper parathas are ready. Now serve them with yogurt or with your favorite vegetable or chutney

Namak mirch paratha recipe step by step with photos

.  First, put the wheat flour in a large pot



Add salt and a teaspoon of oil to the flour and mix



.  Add a little water to the flour and knead a soft dough



. Cover the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes


.  Break a boll sized dough out of the dough and roll it into a circle



. Sprinkle dry flour over the dough and roll out its paratha



.   Spread ghee on top of the paratha



.  Now spread salt, red chilli powder and cumin seeds on top



.  Hold the paratha from one side and fold it



  .Now fold the paratha from the other side and make a triangle



.  Now sprinkle dry flour on top and roll



.  Place the paratha on the preheated pan and sear the paratha on one side



. When the paratha is seared on one side, turn it over and apply ghee on top



.Fry the parathas in ghee over low heat, turning them on both sides



.  Namak mirch parathas are ready now serve them with yogurt or with your favorite vegetable chutney

Tips

. To make crispy, bake the parathas on low heat

. Spices you more or less to your liking
