Groundnut chikki is a famous Indian sweet made with jaggery and groundnut. They are eaten in winter. There are many types of mills available in the market. Peanut chikki, sesame chikki, puffed rice, dry fruits chikki, gram dal Chikki, etc. Peanut chikki is very easy to make, in this, the jaggery is first melted by adding water to the jaggery and then adding roasted peanuts and mixing it well, then putting ghee on a plate or mode is transferred to it and After cooling, it is cut into square pieces, Chikki is very beneficial for health because it contains protein and iron, after making Chikki, cool them completely and then keep them in an air tight container and keep them for 2 months. Ingredients for Peanut Chikki
.1 cup peanuts
.1 cup good
.2 tbsp water
How to make Chikki
. First put peanuts in a pan and roast the peanuts on low flame for 10 minutes.
. Keep stirring continuously so that the peanut does not burn
. When peanuts start peeling off, turn off the gas and let the peanuts cool down.
.After the peanuts cool down, peel them off
. Now put a cup of jaggery in a pan and add two spoons of water and cook it while stirring continuously till the jaggery melts.
. When the jaggery melts, cook it on low flame for 5 minutes.
. When the jaggery becomes thick, take water in a bowl and put a drop of jaggery in the water and see if the drop of jaggery becomes hard after putting it in the water, then turn off the gas or else cook it for a while.
. Now add roasted peanuts to it and mix
. Immediately take out the mixture on a greased plate.
. Give the right shape by pressing from above with a bowl or plate.
. Let it cool for 2 minutes and as soon as it is hot, cut its bran chickpea otherwise the mixture will become hard after cooling.
When the chickpeas cool down completely, take them out from the plate and fill them in an airtight container and eat them for 2 months.
Tips
.If you are taking pre-roasted peanuts, do not roast them later.
. If you want, you can also add cardamom powder to the chickpeas.
. After cooling the chick completely, store it in an airtight container and eat it for up to 2 months.
